Starting with cross-cultural training for foreign companies in Indonesia, we expanded our business to include strategic management consulting, serving private companies, multinational firms, state-owned enterprises, and government and non-government institutions.

We also specialize in family business. Helping them to expand their legacy, because we believe that family business contribute positively to the Indonesia’s economic growth.

THE JAKARTA CONSULTING GROUP (JCG) MILESTONES

1983 – 1993

Initially, The Jakarta Consulting Group (JCG) provided cross-cultural training for foreign companies. We expanded our business by providing management consulting services, particularly for Family Businesses. Furthermore, it provides Executive Search, Recruitment, Selection, and Assessment Services.

1993 – 2003

The Jakarta Consulting Group (JCG) began organizing public seminars and established organizer services both nationally and internationally. It also provides recruitment and selection packages at a large scale.

2003 - 2013

Research has become an increasingly important part of Strategic Management Consultation. We also established The Jakarta Consulting Group publication division and wrote a book titled “The Dragon Network: Inside Stories of the Most Successful Chinese Family Businesses,” published by John Wiley and Sons, Bloomberg Press. This period also saw the establishment of an Assessment Center.

2013 – Now

The Jakarta Consulting Group provides many consultations and training on Strategic Management, such as Corporate Strategic Planning, Business Transformation, Managing Holding Companies, Corporate Culture, Marketing and Branding, and Human Resource Management. The demand for Family Business Consultations, including Family Governance, Succession Planning, and Conflict Management, has rapidly increased.

Our Strategic Management Consulting solutions are not limited to any specific industry, allowing us to serve diverse sectors. With our team of professionals possessing diverse expertise, we have the ability to leverage best practices from various industries and integrate them seamlessly into the organization.
